Now Registering for Fall Baseball Fundamentals Clinics for Rookies (9-10) and Majors (11-12).
- Player's age is based on their age on April 30, 2010 (i.e. for next Spring season). - Clinic Location: Palmer Lake Field, Hwy 105 - Clinic Cost: $25 ($75 value) - Clinic Dates: o Sat. Aug 29 - Rookies 9am-Noon; Majors 1-4pm o Sun. Aug 30 - Rookies 1-4pm; Majors 4:30-7:30pm
- Specialty Clinics: Rock-It Baseball Academy is willing to offer a 2-hr Pitching Clinic and a separate 2-hr Catchers Clinic this fall for those interested. The dates and times have not been set yet. Cost per clinic would be $20 ($50 value). Just indicate your interest on your registration form and we will contact you with more details.
Tri-Lakes Little League and Rock-It Baseball Academy are proud to announce a new partnership - The Tri-Lakes LL Player Development Program. The program will be co-developed with a focus on utilizing Rock-It Baseball Academy's Sports Life Integration Curriculum (SLIC) while ensuring the program is consistent with Tri-Lakes Little League's overall vision. The Player Development Program is completely optional for parents and players. There is no required participation. The purpose of the program is to provide an ongoing, structured development program for Tri-Lakes LL players who wish to continue their development outside the regular season. Clinics will be held in the local Tri-Lakes area.
The Player Development Program will focus on all skill and ability levels, integrating Life Skills development into each clinic within the program. Age-appropriate drills and skill development will be at the core of the program, ensuring that each player can improve their skills over time and be ready for the next level of play. Repetition and muscle memory development will reinforce player learning and retention.
Clinics will be offered solely to Tri-Lakes Little League players. The clinics will be led by Coach Sparky of Rock-It Baseball Academy with significant contributions from existing Tri-Lakes LL coaches as chosen by the Tri-Lakes LL Board.
As a non-profit corporation, Rock-It Baseball Academy is committed to local Little League player development. As a result of this mission, a significant percentage of all proceeds will be donated back to Tri-Lakes Little League, creating an automatic, ongoing fundraising program as part of the Player Development Program.
In addition to the Player Development Program, Rock-It Baseball Academy will collaborate with Tri-Lakes Little League on developing a Coach Development Program, providing materials and training on age-appropriate skill development and training for each division.
